Between Christmas and New Year's, there are a few precious days when the city grows quieter and time seems to slow down. It is a season for togetherness, for sharing warmth, and for giving one another not things, but moments that remain in the heart long after the holidays have passed.
In the heart of Vilnius Old Town, within the intimate setting of the Lithuanian Artists’ Association, pianist Darius Mažintas invites you to a special evening featuring Philip Glass's Selected Études—music filled with light, silence, and the gentle flow of time. These remarkable works transform simple musical ideas into deeply moving journeys, where repetition becomes meditation and every note opens space for reflection.
In Darius Mažintas' interpretation, Philip Glass's music unfolds with exceptional sensitivity. It never rushes or overwhelms, but gently invites each listener to discover their own emotions and inner landscape. This is a recital where the sound of the piano becomes an intimate conversation, and the unique atmosphere creates a rare connection between performer and audience.
To preserve this closeness and ensure an exceptional listening experience, the audience is limited to just 50 guests. It is a rare opportunity to experience live piano music at its most personal—without haste, without distraction, simply immersed in sound.
A ticket to this recital is more than a Christmas gift—it is the gift of an unforgettable experience. Rather than something to unwrap, it is an evening to share with someone you love, filled with beauty, warmth, and inspiration. The most meaningful gifts are often not the ones placed beneath the Christmas tree, but the moments that stay with us for years to come.
Treat yourself or someone dear to an evening where music speaks more deeply than words, and let it become one of the most cherished memories of this holiday season.
