It's hard not to fall in love with Viviane's fado! Her voice is like a touch. Sometimes soft as velvet, sometimes powerful as a tornado. This unconventional performer of traditional Portuguese music creates a colorful dialogue between longing fado, playful French chansons, and dramatic tango. "Music needs no boundaries," says Viviane.

Viviane's songs are like confessions or short stories that awaken feelings familiar to everyone. The singer was born in France and moved to Portugal at the age of thirteen. When asked where she feels most at home, she smiles and winks: "On stage. That's where my soul feels at home."

The singer's musical journey began in the 1990s with the popular rock band Entre Aspas, which played to stadium crowds. The band released six albums, and in 2005 Viviane began her solo career.
