VIVA VERDI by the Italian Theatre Balletto di Milano

Giuseppe Verdi is Italy’s most celebrated composer, a true icon of its rich musical heritage, whose works have resonated across generations and borders. Although he never wrote a full ballet, his operas are filled with exquisite dance passages—from I Vespri Siciliani to Il Trovatore, Otello, Don Carlo, and Macbeth—as well as majestic preludes perfect for choreography, rhythm, and dramatic expression.

Viva Verdi celebrates the Maestro’s timeless legacy, transforming his music into movement, breath, and vivid expression. Every gesture, every step, mirrors the sublime melodies that have made Verdi immortal, revealing not only the extraordinary power of his music but also his enduring passion for drama and dance.
