The Vilnius Book Fair is the largest book fair in the Baltic States and one of the most prominent cultural events in Lithuania. This event, which promotes and celebrates reading, gathers visitors from all over Lithuania every year for meetings with authors, book presentations, discussions, concerts, exhibitions, creative workshops, and other cultural activities. Around 300 publishers and cultural organizations from Lithuania and abroad participate in the fair annually, with over 500 various events and concerts, and more than 50,000 visitors attending over the course of four days.
News and Guests at the Vilnius Book Fair
Each year, visitors to the book fair have the chance to be the first to purchase the latest works by Lithuanian and foreign authors. A long-standing tradition of the fair is the opportunity to get an autograph from an author after attending their events. Publishers invite special guests and organize unique events, which we will announce closer to the 2025 anniversary fair.
Discussions
As every year, there will be DISCUSSION CLUB talks on current topics.
Young Readers’ Hall
Visitors to the Young Readers' Hall will be delighted by a wide selection of new books at the publishers' stands, as well as various creative activities and events on the stage.
Amphitheater
This is not a new hall, but rather a renaming of the former Cinema Hall located in the first building. Not only the name is changing, but the concept of the hall itself is evolving — during the 2025 Vilnius Book Fair, it will host literary, music, and performative events.
Music Hall
As every year, you can look forward to a unique program and content in this space, organized by the AGATA association, bringing together most of Lithuania’s musicians under one roof. This is the largest Lithuanian music production fair, with dozens of concerts, talks, and meetings.
