TOTO CUTUGNO – GREATEST HITS LIVE
You don’t have to speak Italian. You just have to feel the music.
“L’Italiano”, “Solo noi”, “Insieme: 1992”, “Serenata”, “Soli”… Read the titles, and the melodies are already playing in your head. Now imagine the opening chords performed live — and an entire audience joining in the chorus.
Some songs bring back more than a melody. They bring back first dates, music playing on the radio at home, journeys you still remember and people you wish were sitting beside you. You may not have heard them for years, yet the moment they begin, you realise you remember every turn of the tune.
On 5 March in Kaunas, 6 March in Palanga and 7 March in Druskininkai, discover an evening of Toto Cutugno’s greatest songs, filled with Italian passion, romance and live music.
Leave the everyday behind for a while. Dress up, take someone special by the hand and make time for an evening that belongs to the music.
Two hours in Italy — no plane ticket required
From tender melodies that make you fall silent to irresistible choruses that invite you to sing along, this two-hour programme brings together “L’Italiano”, “Solo noi”, “Innamorati”, “Serenata”, “Insieme: 1992”, “Donna”, “Soli” and other much-loved songs from Toto Cutugno’s repertoire. The music will be performed live by the Italian singers and musicians of L’Italiano Orchestra in a celebration of his musical legacy.
The charm of this music lies in its openness. Emotions are never hidden, declarations of love are never half-hearted, and a beautiful chorus stays with you long after the song has ended. That is the spirit of the Italian stage this concert invites you to experience.
Hearing these songs live is nothing like pressing play on a favourite recording. Someone beside you quietly hums along. A couple a few rows aheadn exchange a glance as their song begins. And suddenly you find yourself joining in — even though, before the concert, you were certain you had forgotten the words.
“When I closed my eyes, I heard and felt Toto”
These were the words of Carla, Toto Cutugno’s wife, after hearing L’Italiano Orchestra perform. The ensemble’s performance has been officially endorsed by
Toto Cutugno’s family — a deeply personal recognition of the musicians bringing his repertoire to the stage.
That recognition speaks to something listeners understand instinctively: the familiar mood of a song, respect for its melody and the ability to convey the feeling at its heart.
On stage, Italian voices and live instruments bring these songs into the room with you. One moment the music makes you smile; the next, it brings back a memory. Sometimes, all you want to do is sit back and listen.
This is an evening worth putting your phone away for. An evening worth taking your time over.
You know more of his music than you think
Toto Cutugno’s musical world reaches far beyond “L’Italiano”. His melodies have been performed by Joe Dassin, Dalida, Adriano Celentano, Mireille Mathieu, Ricchi e Poveri and other stars of the European stage. His songwriting is also associated with Joe Dassin favourites including “Et si tu n’existais pas”, “Salut” and “L’Été indien”.
So this evening is not only for those who have Toto Cutugno records at home. It is for anyone who loves expressive voices, memorable melodies, the elegance of Italian popular music and songs that stay with you.
Perhaps you will come for one particular favourite. You may leave remembering just how much of this music has already been part of your life.
With International Women’s Day approaching, give someone an evening together
Who would you take to Italy for a night?
Your partner? Your mother, whose home was always filled with these melodies? A friend you keep promising to meet? Or perhaps you have been waiting for a reason to dress up and enjoy an evening out yourself.
A concert ticket is a gift you can experience together. The conversation on the way there. The music filling the hall. The chorus you are still hum.

About performer
TOTO CUTUGNO – the songwriter whose melodies became part of people’s lives
“L’Italiano”, “Solo noi”, “Insieme: 1992”, “Serenata”, “Soli” — read the titles, and the music is already playing in your head. Toto Cutugno was one of the defining figures of Italian popular music: a singer, composer and songwriter with a gift for turning personal feelings into melodies that spoke to audiences across countries and languages. His songs combined Italian passion and romance with a directness that made them feel immediately familiar.
For many listeners, his name is inseparable from “L’Italiano”, but his musical legacy reaches much further. His melodies were performed by Joe Dassin, Dalida, Adriano Celentano, Mireille Mathieu, Ricchi e Poveri and other stars of the European stage. His songwriting credits also include Joe Dassin favourites “Et si tu n’existais pas”, “Salut” and “L’Été indien” — songs instantly recognisable even to listeners who have never looked up the names behind them.
A winner of both the Sanremo Music Festival and the Eurovision Song Contest, Cutugno left a repertoire that continues to resonate with listeners. “Insieme: 1992”, “Solo noi” and “Serenata” recall different chapters of his career, yet share the same emotional openness. Their appeal lies not only in a memorable tune, but also in what each listener finds within it.
For some, these songs bring back a first love. For others, they recall family celebrations, summer journeys or the radio playing at home. Hearing Toto Cutugno’s music performed live is therefore more than an opportunity to remember the artist. It is a chance to revisit your own memories — and make new ones with the person you have invited to share the evening.
L’ITALIANO ORCHESTRA – Toto Cutugno’s songs, Italian voices and the emotion of live music
Italian ensemble L’Italiano Orchestra presents a live concert programme celebrating the music of Toto Cutugno. Italian singers and musicians bring his songs to the stage with respect for the maestro’s melodies, arrangements and distinctive musical character. The ensemble’s performance has been officially endorsed by Toto Cutugno’s family — a particularly meaningful recognition for the artists carrying his musical legacy forward.
After hearing L’Italiano Orchestra perform, the maestro’s wife, Carla, said:
“When I closed my eyes, I heard and felt Toto.”
Her words capture the ensemble’s greatest achievement: conveying the feeling that made these songs so loved in the first place. At the heart of the concert are the music, its live sound and the connection with the audience. Italian voices bring familiar songs to life in their original language, while the programme evokes the warmth and character of Italy’s great popular-music tradition.
The two-hour programme features “L’Italiano”, “Solo noi”, “Innamorati”, “Serenata”, “Insieme: 1992”, “Donna”, “Soli” and other favourites from Toto Cutugno’s repertoire. Tender melodies give way to choruses that invite you to sing along, with each familiar song forming part of the musical story of one of Italy’s most celebrated songwriters.
This is an evening for anyone who misses heartfelt, melodic music and wants to experience it beyond a screen. Bring someone for whom these songs mean something too. Sometimes, all a memorable evening needs is the opening of a familiar song — and the right person beside you.
