"The Ditties" is a one-of-a-kind ensemble in Lithuania – dazzlingly elegant, refined, and sophisticated, transporting listeners to an extraordinary past era with a simple snap of delicate female fingers.

In the 1930s in the U.S., music was everything. It helped people escape sadness during tough economic times, igniting the desire to enjoy life and believe in it. So much optimism and joy were packed into the songs of that time. It was like opium, sheer madness, and during their concerts, "The Ditties" girls effortlessly revive that intoxicating power of music, faithfully and emotionally recreating the style of female vocal ensembles from that era with precision, professionalism, and heart.

Their inspirations, "The Boswell Sisters" and "The Andrews Sisters," were true queens of the entertainment industry, enchanting millions with their clean, coquettish, and playful singing, elegant gowns, and subtle performances. "The Ditties" reveal that this charm has not faded away. Veronika Čičinskaitė-Golovanova, Rūta Švipaitė, and Ugnė Bakanauskaitė transform into true swing queens on stage, quickly allowing the audience to feel the powerful magic of this unique style. That special aesthetic, the subtle mannerisms, and the vibrant, optimistic swing rhythms offer modern listeners a break from the cacophony of today's noise.

Because the music of "The Ditties" comes from a time when flirting was slow, dancing was fast, and the world was a little more naive and younger than it is today—and three-part harmony was enough to sing its praises.
