Tango. Buenos Aires. Montevideo

The duration of the concert is 1 hour and 15 minutes.

In recent years he has conquered the European and Middle Eastern public, representing our country at the IX World Tango Festival in Finland in 2011, culminating this tour in Paris. 

In the years 2014 and 2017, he made extensive and successful tours around Europe (Paris, Berlin, Hamburg, Warclaw, Warsaw, Lebanon, Cyprus, Italy). 

In 2015, at the request of Mr. Amb. Hugo Cayrus and Mr. Representative to the OAS Mr. Nestor Rosa, he represented Uruguay in the Bicentennial celebrations. 

Among his multiple recognitions, he stands out the ZORZAL AWARD as the only representative of Uruguay in Argentina, MATOS RODRIGUEZ AWARD at the Solís Theater, FLORENCIO AWARD for best musical work in "TU CUNA FUE UN CONVENTILLO", FLORENCIO AWARD for the work " NOSTALGESES”, in which he plays as a lead singer with Gabriela Morgare. 

As a corollary to his great career, he was awarded in April 2017 with the title of "ILLUSTRIOUS CITIZEN OF MONTEVIDEO". 

Continuously working for our tango and our culture, he presented on August 1, 2017 at the Teatro del Notariado his seventh CD, called "UNA ILUSION QUERIDA", a tribute to our tango LA CUMPARSITA, celebrating the Centenary of its creation, in addition to several recitals in our Solís Theater, Joventango, Montevideo Orchestra, etc. 

After the prestigious Tango Festival in the city of Lodz (Poland), and the VIII Festival of Tango with Height in the City of La Paz (Bolivia), it is presented in the first MONTEVIDEO TANGO show, which took place in our Main Square. 

On May 2, 2018, the great show at the Sodre Auditorium, "GOOD NIGHT MONTEVIDEO", in which she was a soloist, with the musical direction of Alvaro Hagopian and 14 musicians on stage, directed by Sergio Dotta, produced by Susana Barreira, was one of the biggest recitals of the year, also presented in Sala Zitarrosa. 

In February 2020 it was released the CD corresponding to this show. 

For two consecutive years he performed in different theaters in Uruguay the mini-musical “DE GARDEL A LA PIAF”, together with Marìa Noel Taranto and music arrangements by Raùl Medina, directed by Ricardo Artola and produced by Susana Barreira. 

He has always performed in various tango spaces, such as the renowned BAAR FUN FUN, where he has been singing every week for almost thirty years, the old Cafè Sorocabana, Hotel Cottage and others. 

In November 2019 he appeared at the METRO Theater, in the recital ALGO CONTIGO, together with the great Argentine singer-songwriter Chico Novarro. 

On December 5, he presented his recital HOY ES TANGO at Sala Zitarrosa, accompanied by the orchestra led by Maestro Raúl Medina, directed by Sergio Dotta, produced by Susana Barreira. 

These and many more are the achievements obtained through the great career of the singer NELSON PINO, to which we add a projected tour in September-October 2022 confirmed in Poland and Lituni, and in ways to materialize Austria and Paris.
