Concert: “Who Is That Diva?”
Event information
“Who Is That Diva?” – this is the ironic and playful title of the festive concert inspired by the famous aria Casta diva from Vincenzo Bellini’s opera Norma. Translated literally into Lithuanian, the phrase sounds like a question inviting curiosity: who, indeed, is the diva?
On 28 December 2025, in the cozy Music Hall, during the magical time between the holidays—when the warmth of Christmas has not yet faded and anticipation of the New Year begins to shimmer—listeners will be invited on a musical journey through the world of majestic, unforgettable, and truly divine women.
The evening’s program will feature impressive arias and duets performed by soprano Rasa Dzimidaitė and mezzo-soprano Evelina Volodkovič, drawn from operas and operettas in which the diva reveals herself in full: through drama, virtuosic vocal elegance, tenderness, and an inimitable charisma radiating from the stage. The program will be complemented—and given a festive mood—by piano music performed by Nijolė Baranauskaitė.
“Who Is That Diva?” is not only a question, but also an answer that each listener will discover for themselves: through female characters, their stories, and their music. This concert is a perfect way to savor a unique moment between the holidays, to end the year with beauty, and to begin the new one with brilliance.
