Event information

From November 19–22, the music club "Tamsta" and the Naujosios Vilnios kultūros centras will once again host the international world music festival-showcase "Saulės muzika" — now taking place for the sixth time!

Full of love and light, the world's most secretive instruments and music-loving sounds, the festival invites you to a four-day celebration — concerts and music education events for the whole family.

"Saulės muzika" is an international world music festival-showcase in Vilnius. It is the long-cherished idea of Lithuanian multi-instrumentalist Saulius Petreikis. The festival brings together world, folk and instrumental music. Every year, musicians from different countries take part. This year, under the same sun, musicians from Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Ireland and Lithuania will gather. Saulės muzika is more than concerts and performances — the organisers' ambition is to grow and bring together a musical community and introduce audiences to world music, which is why music education plays such an important part in the festival.

Musician and festival founder Saulius Petreikis invites you not just to listen, but to experience: discover new musical neighbours from neighbouring countries, immerse yourself in the energy of different cultures, and share it together.
