New Year's Eve Concert: Kristina Zmailaitė and Edmundas Seilius

On the evening of December 31st, we invite you to a special New Year's concert, C’est Magnifique, where you will journey through a romantic musical world filled with French charm and Southern European melodies. The concert will also feature works by Lithuanian composers, perfectly capturing the light and dreamy atmosphere of New Year's Eve.

During the event, you will be immersed in musical theatre, French and Lithuanian chanson melodies, filled with love, romance, and happiness. Pianist Aušrinė Garsonaitė-Šiškienė, along with the unique Electronic Orchestra enriched by musical effects, will create a modern, unheard sound. Specially created video projections by Karolis Šiškus will enhance every moment of the performance.

Kristina Zmailaitė and Edmundas Seilius, one of the most remarkable musical duos in Lithuania, will enchant you with their vocal mastery and musical finesse.

“When I listen to the songs in this program, I sometimes forget how Ch. Trenet’s La Mer and M. Novikas’ Pavasariška kelionė can sound so alike,” shares Edmundas Seilius.

Before the concert, the organizers invite the audience to a tasting of French gourmet snacks and festive drinks.

Kristina Zmailaitė (soprano) – One of Lithuania’s most renowned opera singers, known both in Lithuania and abroad. Kristina is distinguished by her bright and clear soprano voice, with a repertoire that spans a wide variety of genres, from opera arias to musicals and chamber music. She performs with the most prominent ensembles in Lithuania and internationally, captivating audiences not only with her technical mastery but also with deep emotion.

Edmundas Seilius (tenor) – A famous Lithuanian tenor, who has delighted audiences for years with his distinctive voice and professionalism. He actively performs in Lithuania and abroad, presenting a range of opera, musical theatre, and chamber music works. Edmundas is also the creator and performer of numerous musical projects, constantly seeking new forms of musical expression.

Aušrinė Garsonaitė-Šiškienė (piano, Electronic Orchestra) – A talented pianist, highly skilled in both classical and modern piano repertoires. She is known as a musical experimenter, enhancing traditional music compositions with the latest technological innovations. In this program, she will create a unique orchestral sound through live performance and electronic tools.

Karolis Šiškus (video projections) – A creative video projection artist, designing unique visual solutions for concerts and stage events. His work enhances musical performances with emotional and aesthetic impact. For this concert, Karolis will create specially tailored projections that will enrich the musical performance with visual artistry.
