Event information
Two prominent Ukrainian musicians, currently living in Lithuania, present a new programme of works for solo violin and violin and piano. In gratitude to Lithuania, which has given them refuge, they present works by Lithuanian and Ukrainian composers.
The majority of the programme consists of music by 20th century composers. Thus, the performers have perfectly mastered the performance technique typical of today's music, and they listen sensitively to the national spirit and echoes of folk music in their compositions.
