MemelFest'24 TEATRO DIRBTUVĖS su Michael Woodwood
Event information
I General workshops
In this practical session participants will be led through a series of exercises, games and improvisation to be used with actors for warm-ups, exploring text, characterisation, scene work and acting technique. Based mainly on the methodology of Jacques Lecoq, this fun, creative workshop uses mainly physical theatre, objects and music to explore space and body. An opportunity to let your imagination fly.
II Advanced workshops
In this practical session participants will get the chance to work both individually and within a group. Using more advanced acting exercises drawn from such practitioners as Stanislavsky, Uta Hagen and Sanford Meisner the session will use theories and techniques, which help the actor prepare for performance, build a character and make acting real. We will explore scene work in pairs and individual monologues, so be prepared to analyse your own acting and perform in front of other participants.
