For more than three decades, Mano Juodoji Sesuo have explored different shades of alternative music while developing a distinctive darkwave sound – dark, romantic and melancholic, moving throughout the band’s history between guitar-driven music, electronics and cold dance rhythms.

The story of Mano Juodoji Sesuo began in 1991, when Barbora and Mindaugas left Post Meridian and started performing independently. Their debut album Byra byra karoliukai followed in 1992, with songs such as Tiesi rankas į dangų and Byra byra karoliukai reaching the top of Lithuanian radio charts. Over the following decades, the band released Reinkarnacija, Sesuo, Belamy, Synthetique and several other records, performing across Lithuania and abroad as well as appearing at major dark alternative music festivals.

At Kirtimai Culture Center, the band will perform long-time fan favourites alongside songs from Belamy, now celebrating its 30th anniversary. Originally released in 1996, the album became an important chapter in the band’s history and includes tracks such as Šaltą rytą and Belamy.

The concert will also be captured as a live recording. For the band’s founder and only remaining original member, Mindaugas Budnikas, live recordings carry a special significance: they preserve not only the musicians’ performance but also the emotions of the audience. This means everyone in the room will become part of the document of this rare night in Vilnius.

A reissued Belamy vinyl as well as selected earlier Mano Juodoji Sesuo releases will also be available at the event.
