Fashion Talent Contest INJECTION 2022

This year fashion talent contest INJECTION will take place in Kaunas, which was announced European Capital of Culture in 2022.

The final event of the INJECTION fashion talent contest will be full of young maximalism, originality, and courage. Event will be held in the Kaunas Central Post Office, a masterpiece of Lithuanian interwar modern architecture.

The theme of the competition is protest. This choice was inspired by the history of the Kaunas Central Post Office. A Lithuanian dissident named Romas Kalanta set himself on fire in front of the post office 50 years ago (in 1972). This was a protest against the occupation of Lithuania by the Soviet Union. He was only 19 years old at the time.

Young people are the backbone of society, thus this year's outstanding designers will protest against indifference, discuss emotional struggles, and inquire as to which is better: to burn or to smoulder.

As many as 15 designers will present their messages and exclusive collections in the final event:

The 14th edition of the INJECTION competition is organised by the FASHION INFECTION festival. The winners of INJECTION will have the opportunity to present their work on the FASHION INFECTION for the first time.
