Folk dance group festival "Let's run together and trample"

On April 18th at 2:00 PM, the rhythms of folk music will sound in the Tauragė Cultural Center, and the stage will be filled with dance, colors and togetherness. Folk dance groups from various cities of Lithuania will gather here, inviting the audience to experience the living tradition, energy and joy of folk dance.

The following groups will perform at the festival, led by choreographer Giedrius Paulauskas of the Tauragė Cultural Center:
Senior folk dance group “Vėjavа”
Folk dance group “Spietlius”
Women’s dance group “Vėtrubė”

Guests from other Lithuanian cities will also participate in the festival:
Panevėžys Cultural Center senior folk dance ensemble “Linas” (director and choreographer Zita Rimkuvienė)
Ežerėlis Cultural Center Ringaudai Leisure Hall folk dance ensemble “Rasa” (choreographer Darius Žilinskas)
Jurbarkas Cultural Center folk dance group “Mituva” (director Justė Lukauskienė)
Kazlų Rūda Cultural Center folk dance group “Rūdnyčia” (director Darius Žilinskas)

This will be a cozy and lively celebration, where dancers from different generations who cherish the Lithuanian dance tradition will meet. We invite everyone – families, friends and fans of folk dance – to come, support the dancers and together feel the true spirit of Lithuanian dance.
