FIM Sidecarcross & Quadcross World Championship
Event information
Event
On August 1–2, Lithuania will make history by hosting, for the first time, rounds of the FIM Sidecarcross World Championship and the FIM Quadcross World Championship. The world’s elite will gather at Mickūnai MX Park in the Anykščiai district – a venue now officially included in the championship calendar.
This marks a significant achievement for Lithuanian motorsport. After two years of negotiations with the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM), intensive preparations, and the implementation of strict technical requirements, Lithuania has been granted the honor of hosting an event of this global level.
During one weekend, you can experience:
• FIM Sidecarcross World Championship Round 10
• FIM Quadcross World Championship Round 8
The FIM Sidecarcross and Quadcross World Championships represent the highest level of competition, bringing together the strongest riders from around the world. Powerful engines, spectacular jumps, and battles for every second will create a thrilling show that will keep you on the edge of your seat from the first start to the final flag.
On the track, you will see not only Lithuania’s top riders – G. Volkavičius, L. Mikalauskas, V. Vareikaitė, L. Variakojis, and others – but also the world’s leading athletes and their teams. This is a rare opportunity to experience the true spirit of motocross live and support local riders on the international stage.
But this is more than just racing – it’s a full-day event for everyone:
• World-class motocross in Lithuania
• Entertainment for the whole family, including activities for children
• A specially prepared, technically challenging, and impressive track
• Food zones, chill areas, and a vibrant atmosphere throughout the day
• Meet & greet opportunities with riders, autograph sessions, and a chance to see the machines up close
Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of a historic event and witness the world’s motocross elite live in Lithuania.
