Excursion "History of Kaunas Clubs of the 90s. Old Town" [in Lithuanian]

On Friday, May 2, from 6 p.m., the Unikalus paveldas invites you to a walking tour in Kaunas Old Town “History of Kaunas Clubs in the 90s”. The tour would be carried out in Lithuanian. Private 90s/2000s music themed tours are also available in English.

We shall start our trip at the sign “#KAUNAS” near Kaunas Castle (Pilies St. 17), and during the 2 hour trip we shall present all jazz, rock, EDM clubs of the 90s and 00s located in Kaunas Old Town, as well as favorite bohemian meeting points from interwar, Soviet times and 2000s era - some of which have been long closed, and some are open even today.

The tours will be presented by Kaunas city guide, former editor of the magazine “Ore” and the portal “Ore.lt”, founder of the NGO “Unikalus paveldas” (“Unique Heritage”) Jonas Oškinis, and DJ, radio host, blogger, organizer of the first raves of the 90s in Kaunas, member of the DJ team “Žvėriukai”, and head of the private DJ sound company “Sielos džiaugsmas” (“Happiness of the Soul”) Povilas Pauplys.

Filming and photography may be done during the tour. The event will take place in any weather. If you purchase tour tickets, but your plans change, the money for the ticket is non-refundable, but you can always transfer the ticket to another person who wants to participate in the citywalk.
