On Saturday, February 10th, from 1:30 PM, we invite you to the excursion „Beautiful Doors of Kaunas“ which shall be carried out in the Žaliakalnis burough on the Green Hill of Kaunas. The tour will be held in Lithuanian and starts near the Prisikėlimo Church at Žemaičių st 31 B.
This excursion is a special way to get to know Kaunas' interwar modernist architecture, which was recently added to the UNESCO World Heritage List. During the tour, we will see the doors behind which are the organizations of the Temporary Capital, former diplomatic missions of foreign countries, and places famous people of Kaunas lived on the burough located on the Green Hill of Kaunas. Jonas Oškinis, the tour guide, will tell you about it and answer your questions about the Modernist Interwar Kaunas in Žaliakalnis.
Travel time - 1.5 hours. The excursion will take place in any weather. The tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable, but you can always gift or transfer your ticket to other person.
