Japanese Keiko Borjeson is probably one of the most charming guests of the festival. She is also one of the most original jazz pianists and a unique master of improvisation, having even played at the White House.
Born in Tokyo, Keiko Borjeson began playing at the age of three, and made her television debut at the age of five. The performer is a regular participant in various world festivals, she has performed in: Italy, Latvia, Sweden, China, Poland, Germany, England, Hong Kong, Egypt, etc.
Keiko has also received the “Jazz Audio Prize” and “Jazz Critics” awards for her CDs. The style of music performed by this musician is described as elegant, rhythmic jazz with a pronounced bebop flavor.
By the way, Keiko loves to improvise not only on stage, but also in life, and her motto is “All life is improvisation. There is no time for rehearsals.”
