About performer

Rosie Bennet

Born in London in 1996, Rosie Bennet began playing the guitar at the age of seven. She received her early musical education at The Yehudi Menuhin School on a scholarship funded by The Rolling Stones.

She later studied with renowned guitarists including Zoran Dukić in The Hague, Johan Fostier in Tilburg, Rene Izquierdo in Milwaukee, Raphaella Smits in Leuven, and Antigoni Goni in Brussels.

Rosie has performed at festivals throughout Europe, including the Open Guitar Festival in the Czech Republic, Glasgow’s Big Guitar Weekend in Scotland, the Porziano Music Festival in Italy, and the West Dean Guitar Festival in the United Kingdom. Highlights of her concert career include solo and chamber music performances at Wigmore Hall in London, The North Wall in Oxford, and concerts presented along the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route.

Rosie Bennet is signed to Sony Classical, with her debut album scheduled for release in 2026.

Daniyah Guitar Duo

Daniyah Guitar Duo was founded in 2022 by Alice Brandão and Maja Kralj at the Haute École de Musique de Genève, where they studied in the class of Judicaël Perroy. Since its formation, the duo has quickly established itself as a promising ensemble on the international stage.

Prizewinners at several prestigious competitions, including Second Prize at the Guitar Foundation of America International Ensemble Competition in 2025, the duo captivates audiences with its musical synergy, precision, and expressive depth.

Their repertoire stands at the crossroads of classical tradition and contemporary influences, leading them to perform in renowned festivals and concert halls across Europe and South America. Deeply committed to musical creation, they collaborate with composers such as Sergio Assad and Florian Colombet, contributing to the expansion of the guitar duo repertoire.

A particularly strong connection links the duo to South American music, which forms a central thread of their artistic identity. This concert program features Radamés Gnattali’s Suite Retratos (arr. Assad Duo), Astor Piazzolla’s Tango Suite, and Dilermando Reis’ Dois Destinos. Through these vibrant and colorful works, the Daniyah Guitar Duo celebrates the richness, vitality, and diversity of South American musical traditions.

In October 2026, the duo will record its debut album in Spain with JSM Records, with the support of the Leenaards Foundation.
