LENsemble (Lithuanian Ensemble Network) presents an intriguing program, meticulously prepared in collaboration with German composer Thomas Hummel, a creative associate of one of Europe's most important electronic music studios, Experimentalstudio des SWR.

The world is currently stepping across the threshold of the widespread emergence and dominance of artificial intelligence. This program, dedicated to this theme—the intersection of live and virtual life, and the dialogue between the human and algorithmic realms—invites listeners to explore the open connections between these two worlds.

GLOBAL ISSUES

Humanity is quietly determining its future. With the world on the brink of widespread artificial intelligence adoption, which could transform societal structures, and scientists warning that we are close to crossing a "red line" beyond which climate damage will be irreversible, the global population surpassing 8 billion, and the Doomsday Clock ticking closer to midnight, it is clear that global challenges can alter our future and daily life at any moment.

How do we perceive and respond to these threats and the future of humanity, and why, despite understanding the magnitude of these threats, are we unable to unite to save the world? This year's "Music Autumn" takes an anthropological look at global or regional issues, from the impact of consumerism on the environment to the world's population, from the scarcity of fresh water to the threats of robotization: how these themes are reflected in the works of composers, in the world of music, in our daily lives, and in our society? Continuing to develop an international program, the festival will also offer an important opportunity for the exchange of ideas and their global contextualization—foreign creators and performers will be presented to expand the spectrum of relevant topics, their approaches, and perceptions, allowing us to listen more broadly to the musical reflection of global threats and the possible futures of humanity.
