The closing concert of the Alanta Music Festival features the captivating Klaipėda Cello Quartet – known for their bold and innovative musical ideas!
This unique ensemble brings together creative energy from different generations: one of Lithuania’s leading cellists, Mindaugas Bačkus, shares the stage with three exceptional young talents – Kornelija Kupšytė, Karolis Vaičiulis, and Arnas Kmieliauskas. Together, they craft a distinctive sound that resonates with both music professionals and devoted listeners.
Refusing to be confined by classical tradition alone, the quartet explores a wide range of musical styles and genres. Their fearless experimentation breathes new life into the classical repertoire while embracing contemporary works, offering audiences a fresh and unexpected musical experience.
The program will include works by M. Bartholomey, M. Ravel, J. S. Bach, Apocalyptica, and more.
