Tribute to Erykah Badu is an impressive celebration honoring one of the most influential music icons—this time more intimate, more acoustic, and more alive than ever before.
The cozy atmosphere of Jazz Cellar 11 invites you to sink into an evening where sound, voice, and genuine emotion become the main protagonists.
Erykah Badu’s music is a journey of the soul, where jazz, hip-hop, and R&B merge into a single rhythm. Often called the queen of neo-soul, she defined an entire musical movement with her distinctive voice and poetic lyrics. Her songs—“On & On,” “Tyrone,” “Bag Lady”—tell stories of love, identity, and inner strength, and their message remains alive in every listener to this day.
This time, Mary Mo invites you to rediscover this music anew. Each song will be lived in the here and now. Expect gentle melodies, Titas’s groove that ties everything together, Paulius’s deep bass lines, and Tomas’s virtuosic solos.
This is not just a concert—it is a living, warm, and intimate evening filled with music that speaks directly from the heart.
Every note will tell a story, and every rhythm will remind us why music heals. 🙌
