About performer
Local Blood is alternative rock band from Vilnius, Lithuania, blending dark, cinematic melodies, raw post-punk energy and a distinctive sense of irony.
In 2022, the band released their debut album Dystopian Disco, which earned them a nomination for Best Rock Act at Lithuania's M.A.M.A. Music Awards. Following the release, Local Blood performed at some of Lithuania's most prominent alternative music festivals, including Devilstone, Loftas Fest and 8 Festival.
Their second studio album, Loverman (2023), is a conceptual record exploring the criminal romanticism of early 1990s Lithuania – a turbulent period following the country's restoration of independence. The album attracted international attention, receiving coverage from CLASH, Europavox, Post-Punk.com, Bobe.me and other European music platforms.
Over the past few years, Local Blood have been steadily building their international presence. In 2024 and 2025, the band completed two European tours, performing across Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Croatia.
In 2026, Local Blood enter a new creative chapter with the release of their third studio album and another European tour in November, featuring nine shows across four countries. With a growing international live presence and a distinctive artistic identity, the band continue to establish themselves within Lithuania's and Europe's alternative music scenes.
